we signed up for a CSA & just got our first box full of fresh produce. this week’s bounty included romaine lettuce, radishes, onions, beets, tatsoi, zucchini, brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, oranges & cilantro. i immediately noticed how especially fresh & healthy all of the veggies look. all of the produce came from local organic farms. i love so much that we are supporting local agriculture.

we can’t wait to put our box of goodies to good use. tonight’s menu: homemade veggie pizza with a crispy salad.

is it super nerdy that we’ve been excited all day to pick this up?

cheers, anna

p.s. we ordered our CSA through the market on holly, and it was organized by silver lake farms.
